1938 SWAT Truck Rebuild

Currently we are rebuilding a 1938 SWAT truck. Many hours of work have gone into this project that we are so proud of. We are nearing completion and look forward to sharing the final product with the world soon!  Public debut at the April 1st GSTA car show,  Car Show | gsta (jceci7.wixsite.com) for show information.

The SWAT truck was donated to Cops n' Rodders in 2018.  It is the intention of the Cops n’ Rodders Classic Car Club to restore the armored car to operating condition, retaining its historical value. It will be displayed at club events, as well as public events under the sponsorship of the County of Ramsey and/or the RCSO.

Read more about the history of his vehicle in the PDF button below. The article is titled MICHAEL FRANCIS SWEENEY & “THE HOG” by Edward J. “Ed” Steenberg Saint Paul Police Historical Society.

St. Paul Police K9 cemetery

Members of Cops-n-Rodders have volunteered to cleanup and bring new life to the St. Paul Police K9 Cemetery. The cemetery had been neglected for many years before. Many volunteer hours have been put into this project. Members of the club have also cleaned up and brought new life to the grounds around the St. Paul Police K9 training center.

Police Fleece Blanket Program

Members of Cops-n-Rodders have been making fleece blankets in a few different sizes. As part of the program, blankets get given to police officers and Sheriffs to use during crisis as they see fit. Also as a part of this program, fleece tie dog toys are made from the cut off fleece scraps and are available for purchase along with the blankets.

St. Paul Police K9 squad door display

The St. Paul Police K9 Foundation asked Cops-n-Rodders to build them a door display that looks like the side of a squad car. With many hours, a door display was built and it has been a huge hit with the officers and the public. A K9 sits on a platform on the back door for a photo op with a child or adult sitting in the driver's seat.
